Warri North Council Boss Asekutu Pays Glowing Tribute To Olu Of Warri On Coronation Anniversary

Hon. Capt Smart Yomi Asekutu, the Warri North Local Government Area chairman, has described the Olu of Warri Kingdom, Ogiame Atuwatse III, as a pragmatic ruler who has used his wealth of experience before ascending the throne of his forefathers in bringing stability, peace and development to the entire Kingdom.

The Council Chairman who paid glowing tribute to the paramount monarch on his coronation anniversary, said that indeed Warri town and the entire councils within the jurisdiction of the monarch are blessed to have him on the throne.

Asekutu said that the Kingdom is privilege to have such a great King of notable repute and royal majesty.

He said that since ascending the throne, one years ago, he have provided purposeful leadership for his people and the Warri kingdom.

Asekutu noted that as a royal father of all, the revered monarch has deployed his wealth of experience to support the growth and development of Warri North and other councils through his peaceful and meaningful engagements with government and other stakeholders.

He assured the monarch that he would continue to foster peaceful coexistence and inclusive in his administration, noting that, he will try his possible best with the help of the state Government to unite and work for the lasting peace in the council.

According to Asekutu, “as leaders we have our individual role to play to promote peace and unity and that’s what we are doing as individual and as a council. I know those responsibility assigned to me as council boss and I am trying my level best to respond as expected by the good people of the Warri North, he added.

While congratulating the monarch on his first year anniversary, he said the Olu has contributed immensely to the development of his people in Warri North just a year in the throne.

He said that the Olu of Warri truly deserved to be celebrated for his landmark accomplishment and fatherly advise, encouragement and prayer “for my administration as pioneer Ijaw-born Warri North council chairman”.

He, therefore, joined the royal family and entire people of Warri kingdom at home and in The Diaspora in celebrating the monarch on the journey of life, maintaining that the Olu is a true “gentleman and bridge-builder”.

 

Asekutu prayed God to grant the monarch longevity, great wisdom, good health and strength to continue to lead the people of his kingdom.

“On behalf of the Warri North local government and people of Warri North Itsekiris, I warmly celebrate with His Royal Majesty, Olu of Warri Ogiame Atuwatse III, on the occasion of his one year coronation anniversary.

“We pray that the Almighty God will continue to grant you more wisdom and divine health to continue serving mankind,” he stated.
