A fire outbreak has been reported at the premises of Fenog Nigeria Limited, an Engineering company in Effurun, near Warri, Delta State.

BIGPENNGR understands that the fire which broke out at the wee hours of the day, caused residents including bank workers in nearby buildings scampering for their dear lives.
Staff of a building by the engineering firm, Amju Micro-Finance Bank on the Airport Road, were said to have ran helter-skelter to rescue valuables from the bank incase the ranging fire spread further to their building.
It was gathered that equipment worth millions of naira were destroyed in the inferno which was said to have broke out from the yard of the engineering, procurement and construction company at about 9:00 hour of the day.
It was not clear what caused the fire at the company located opposite Bright Hope Junction, Airport Road, Effurun.
Witness said it took serious battle for the fire fighters from the state fire service to have curtailed the fire but before it was totally put off, equipment including two tankers worth millions of naira have been gutted by the inferno.
Efforts to get comment from the Managing Director of the firm, Matthew Tonlagha were rebuffed as staff of the company also prevented journalists from taking pictures of the fire incident.
