BREAKING: Gunmen Abduct 200 Students From School In Niger State

Scores of students were kidnapped from an Islamic School, Sunday, in Tegina, Rafi Local Government of Niger State.

Though unconfirmed reports put the number of kidnapped students at about 200, Mary Noel Barje, Chief Press Secretary to Niger State Governor, while confirming the kidnap, however said the number of the abducted students was not yet ascertained.

“Yes there was an abduction at an Islamic School in Tegina.

“But we are yet to ascertain the number of student abducted.

“Search and rescue is ongoing,” she said Sunday evening.
