Finally, Buhari Returns To Nigeria From ‘Private Visit’ To The UK

President Muhammadu Buhari has returned back to the country from his reported private visit to the United Kingdom.

BIGPNNFGR reports that the President landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja in the evening of Thursday.

The presidency Twitter handle also confirmed the President’s return on Thursday evening.

Recall that Buhari left the shores of Nigeria on Tuesday, 30 March, 2021 for the United Kingdom for a routine medical checkup.

The Presidency had in a statement explained that he is expected to return to Abuja the following week.

Specifically, Femi Adesina, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, had in a statement penultimate Monday said President Buhari is due back in the country during the second week of April, 2021.

The President had before his departure met with Security Chiefs where he tasked them on the need to review their combat strategy.

He said he is due back in the country during the second week of April, 2021,” the statement had said.
