‘Indigenous People Of Abuja’ Give IG 48-hours To ‘Clear Off’ #EndSARS Protesters

Published

on

A group of people which styled themselves as “The Indigenous People of Abuja”, on Monday, gave the Inspector General of Police a 48-hours ultimatum to clear off #EndSARS protesters from the streets and roads in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

BIGPEN reports the people were at the Louis Edet House, headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force to submit their letter of disapproval of the prolonged #EndSARS protest and blocking of major roads by the protesters in Abuja.

The group warned that if by 48-hours #EndSARS protesters are still found on the roads, they would have no other option than to confront them one-for-one.

They lamented that the protesters had disrupted social and economic lives of residents, and shut down the entire city to vehicular movement.

One of the protesters who addressed newsmen at the Force Headquarters Abuja, simply identified as Yanusa Ahmadu Yusuf, lamented that the #EndSARS protesters were making life unbearable for the Indigenous people of Abuja.
