Activities at the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, (DESOPADEC) have been crippled as hundreds of staff protest their sudden redeployment.

BigPen Online gathered that pandemonium broke out in the commission headquarters in Warri Monday morning over a circular conveying the redeployment of the staff numbering 575.

The staff were reportedly posted to the Delta State Traffic Management Agency, (DESTMA).

It was learnt that the staff have objected to their posting as traffic wardens against their condition of engagement in DESOPADEC.
