I’m Still In APC, The Broom City FC – Shehu Sani

Senator Shehu Sani, says he is yet to dump the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) despite his political group’s announcement that it has pulled out of the party.

Sani who Kaduna Central District in the National Assembly, made the clarification in a social media post on Friday, a few hours after the group alongside his fellow senator from Kaduna, Othman Hankuyi, who has also had a running battle with Governor Nasiru el-rufai, made the announcement.

Sani and Hankuyi belong to the APC Akida faction of the party in the state.

“Clarification; I’m yet to leave the Broom City FC for the Umbrella United or any other club on the premier league,” he said in a Facebook post.

“Discussion and consultations are ongoing. If such will happen, it will be backed by a signed formal letter to the club management; and a formal announcement on the side of the pitch by myself. Thank you.”
