It Is Official! I Will Run Again Come 2019, Buhari Declares

President Muhammadu Buhari, has officially announced his intention to seek reelection come 2019.

Personal Assistant to the President on New Media Bashir Ahmad, made this known on Monday morning via Twitter.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has just officially announced his intention to seek re-election in 2019. Details soon…,” he posted on Twitter.

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has also confirmed the President’s intent. El-Rufai revealed Buhari made the announcement to the National Executive Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.

Buhari is bid to leave Abuja for an official visit to United Kingdom, and would undergo medical check up during the visits to prepare himself for the rigor of 2019 campaigns.
