Southern Senators Forum To Hold Summit On Restructuring And Other National Issues

The southern senators forum (SSF) under the leadership of Senator Hope Uzodinma is set to convey a retreat for all Senators representing the southern parts of the country.

This retreat which is scheduled to hold on the 23rd of November to 26th  will brainstorm on national issues including restructuring in Nigeria.

The senator in his statement said the SSF was committed to ensuring an equitable, progressive and prosperous Nigeria and would continue to solicit for lasting solutions to problems affecting the country irrespective of tribe, religion or culture.

According to the senator, this retreat will enable the senators to further commit to the peace and tranquility of the polity and will also discuss protection of ethnic minorities in the country.

He pointed out that eminent citizens are also welcome to join the lawmakers adding that the sustenance of National unity in a restructured Nigeria will also be discussed.
