However what everyone should know is that dissolving cabinet is just a way of rejiging the machinery of government for efficiency. Some commissioners will be relieve of their duties while others will be redeployed, it is normal.

Besides, the source,  however said that Governor Okowa has maintained cordial relationships with his predecessor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan and former governor, Chief James Ibori stressing that any step taken by the Governor was for the good of Deltans and not against the duo as often speculated.

“I can tell you that the likely cabinet shake-up has nothing to do with the former Governors of the state. The Governor and the immediate are in good terms. Overzealous party loyalties are the one trying to cause disaffection between them.

“People always read negative meaning to whatever Okowa does because he is a straight forward person. He is a no-nonsense kind of person and down to earth so his policies are tailored to suit his lifestyle, even the likely cabinet shake-up that is imminent is good for the government but they are already reading negative meaning to it.

The source who confided on BigPen Online said that there is disquiet in the state since some of the Commissioners and Special Advisers got wind of the likely cabinet reshuffle.
