The Delta State Government has disowned one of the Governor's aide who made 'official statement' reportedly insulting the people of Isoko nation, saying that only the Commissioner for Information and the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor has authority to issue statement on behalf of the government. BigPen Online recalls that reports had quoted the Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on DESOPADEC Matters, Mr. Prosper Edo who described Isoko people who protested last week over the condition of Isoko-kwale-Asaba road as “uninformed miscreants”.     The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, has disassociated himself from his aide who said that President Muhammadu Buhari cared more about his cows than Nigerians who are suffering economic hardship. The governor’s media aide, Essien Ndueso, Thursday, posted on Facebook, photos of Mr. Buhari’s recent visit to his ranch in Daura, and said of the photos, “Today, we are in an administration that cows fare better than human beings.” Mr. Ndueso mockingly added that “If the cost of grass were to increase, or if anyone were to tamper with the comfort of these cows, I am sure Baba would come back and take urgent actions. “Today fuel is N180 and those who earn their wages monthly from worshipping Baba on Facebook are also suffering the same fate,” he said. Monthly Revenue Allocation: FG, States, LGs Share N609.95billion For The Month Of November

    The Federation Account Allocations Committee (FAAC) has distributed the November allocation to the three tiers of government; Federal, States and Local Government. This allocation which is based on revenue generated for the month amounted to the tune of N609.95 billion which is N77.23 billion more than what it shared in the month of October according to Ahmed Idris, the Accountant General of the Federation.
