Insecurity In North: Buhari’s Wife, Aisha Creates Hashtag #Achechijamaa, Calls Out Service Chiefs In New Video

Aisha Buhari, wife of Nigeria’s President, on Saturday, sets mini-website Twitter buzzing after she created a new twitter hashtag #Achechijamaa, depicting she’s in alignment with protesters over insecurity in the North and calling out the Service Chiefs in what appears like a wake up call to their responsibility.
BIGPEN understands the new hashtag #Achechijamaa (meaning, save the people), which she shared on her Facebook and Twitter handle with a song highlighting the insecurity and killings in the Northern part of the country, was apparently her own way of protesting the current situation in the country.
The Northern Nigeria has been the hotbed of Boko Haram insurgency in the North East and banditry and kidnapping in the North West and North Central for years. Aisha had over time expressed her condemnation over the wanton killings in the North.
In her latest campaign against the killings, the wife of the president shared a Hausa song as translated below in her tweet:
Please look at our situation
We need your help
The North is crying
Wayyo
Our blood is spilt
Wayyo
Our people are killed
Wayyo
Our property destroyed
Please look at our situation
Baba
Please protect us
Baba
It was not however clear why she used the various pictures of series of endless meetings over insecurity in the country between President Muhammadu Buhari and the service chiefs in her post.
But some of her over 847, 000 twitter followers are reacting below:
