Sen. Ned Nwoko’s Support Base Soars Ahead of APC Senate Primary

Political momentum continued to build across Delta North Senatorial District as massive rallies held in Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, Oshimili South, Aniocha North, and Ika North East recorded overwhelming support for the re-election bid of Senator Prince Ned Nwoko ahead of the APC primaries.

The rallies, which drew party faithful, community leaders, youths, women groups, and grassroots supporters, became a strong demonstration of confidence in Senator Nwoko’s leadership and representation at the National Assembly.

In Ndokwa West, the atmosphere in Emu Ebendo was electrifying as supporters thronged the consultation venue in large numbers, openly declaring their endorsement for the senator’s continued representation of Delta North Senatorial District.

Stakeholders from across Ndokwa Nation described the gathering as a reflection of the growing acceptance and popularity of Senator Nwoko among the people.

Speaking during the consultations, the Director General of the campaign, Hon. Samuel Kerry, said the impressive turnout witnessed across the various local government areas was a clear indication of the increasing public trust in Senator Nwoko’s leadership, legislative performance, and consistent engagement with constituents.

According to him, the consultations are aimed at strengthening unity within the district while consolidating grassroots support ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.

Similarly, in Ashaka, Ndokwa East Local Government Area, stakeholders unanimously declared their support for Senator Nwoko, praising what they described as his visible and impactful representation.

Community leaders, party executives, women groups, and youths commended the senator for maintaining close ties with the people and for consistently drawing national attention to issues affecting Delta North.

Across Oshimili South, Aniocha North, and Ika North East, supporters echoed similar sentiments, insisting that Senator Nwoko has remained accessible, responsive, and committed to the growth and development of the senatorial district.

Many noted that his interventions and advocacy at the national level have significantly enhanced the political relevance and visibility of Delta North.

Community leaders at the rallies emphasized the importance of continuity in leadership, stressing that sustained representation would help consolidate ongoing development efforts across the district.

Youth and women representatives also reaffirmed their loyalty and readiness to mobilise support for the senator ahead of the elections.

The rallies were marked by coordinated endorsements, chants of solidarity, and widespread expressions of confidence in Senator Nwoko’s leadership, as supporters repeatedly affirmed their commitment to ensuring his return to the Senate in 2027.
