President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has announced breakthroughs by security forces with the rescue of all 38 worshippers abducted in Eruku, Kwara State.

BIGPEN NIGERIA (https://bigpenngr.com) reports the president, also announced that 51 students who had gone missing from a Catholic school in Niger State have been recovered, offering a glimmer of hope amidst the prevailing insecurity.

The President reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the safety of all Nigerians, emphasizing that every citizen has the right to live free from fear and violence.

He assured the nation that he is closely monitoring the security situation and receiving updates directly from frontline agencies.

“Let me be clear: I will not relent. Every Nigerian, in every state, has the right to safety — and under my watch, we will secure this nation and protect our people,” Tinubu declared.

President Tinubu had last week canceled his attendance at the G20 summit in South Africa to lead efforts at home as Nigeria grapples with insurgency, banditry, and kidnapping.

In a post made on his verified Facebook account on Sunday, he wrote;

My fellow Nigerians,

You will recall that I cancelled my trip to the G20 summit in South Africa to enable me coordinate the security efforts at home.

Thanks to the efforts of our security forces over the last few days, all the 38 worshippers abducted in Eruku, Kwara State have been rescued.

I am equally happy that 51 out of the missing students of the Catholic School in Niger State, have been recovered.

I am closely monitoring the security situation nationwide and receiving continuous updates from the frontline.

Let me be clear: I will not relent. Every Nigerian, in every state, has the right to safety — and under my watch, we will secure this nation and protect our people.
