Dr. Michael Nwoko, Chief of Staff to Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko, has described the recent All Progressives Congress (APC) gathering in Delta North as a historic and unprecedented show of support for the party and its leadership.

Speaking shortly after the event, Dr. Nwoko expressed overwhelming joy at the massive turnout, which he said surpassed all expectations.

“What we saw in that meeting was an unprecedented gathering of party faithful, supporters, stakeholders, and leaders of the APC in Delta North,” he said. “In the history of political gatherings in Delta North, we have never seen this kind of turnout. I’m so elated and overwhelmed.”

Originally planned to host 2,000 constituents, the meeting saw a staggering attendance of over 5,000 people. Dr. Nwoko revealed that organizers had to make last-minute arrangements to bring in additional chairs, yet many attendees were still left standing outside due to the sheer number of participants.

“This is an indication that the people of Delta North have come out in their large numbers to support the party and Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko,” he said.

Dr. Nwoko explained that the meeting was convened by the Delta North APC chairman in line with party structure and laws, while Senator Nwoko served as host. He emphasized that the overwhelming turnout is a clear testament to the senator’s growing popularity and the people’s trust in his leadership.

“What we saw at the meeting was a show of love to the senator by the people of Delta North,” Dr. Nwoko remarked. “Let us continue in this spirit of love, solidarity, and strength because I know that we have taken over Delta State. Delta North is APC.”

He concluded with a confident prediction for the future: “Senator Ned Nwoko obviously enjoys the vote of confidence that was passed on him by the people, which is very clear that he will return in 2027.”

The event has been widely seen as a major political milestone for the APC in Delta State, reinforcing Senator Nwoko’s influence and the party’s growing momentum in the region.
