…Highlights Udu LGA Chairman’s visionary approach in Project implementation

Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Delta State Chairman, Chief (Barr.) Kingsley Esiso, has encouraged politicians, particularly those in public service, to invest in strategic, long-lasting projects that will benefit future generations and leave a positive legacy after their terms finish.

In a speech given at the inauguration of the Brooklyn Park Executive Multipurpose Hall at Otor-Udu, administrative seat of Udu Local Government Area, Chief Esiso commended Udu Council’s boss, Chief Jite Brown, for his astute selection of progress-oriented projects.

Esiso underscored the transformative potential of the inaugurated project, stating that it would significantly contribute to the community’s well-being for many years to come. He reiterated the party’s commitment to build on the Council’s existing accomplishments to reestablish Udu LGA as a PDP stronghold in Delta State.

Responding to the recent Appeal Court verdict that favoured the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the March 18 state Assembly election, Esiso clarified that the PDP’s candidate, Chief Jite Brown, did not lose the election in Udu. The defeat was a temporary setback due to a legal decision, but he expressed confidence in reclaiming Udu as a PDP stronghold.

According to him: “Our son here, Chief Jite Brown, did not lose any election to APC in Udu council area, we lost the election in Udu temporarily due to court pronouncements but we are very optimistic that sooner than later we will take it back from them because Udu is going to be one of the stronghold of PDP in the state”.

He lauded Chief Brown’s implementation of commendable projects in Udu, stating, “It brings me great satisfaction to see council chairmen undertaking projects in their communities. I commend you and urge you to carry out more projects in the remaining months of your tenure.”

Esiso encouraged other local PDP government chairmen to follow Chief Brown’s example in striving to create a lasting legacy in their respective areas, noting that such projects will be beneficial when they eventually leave office or aspire to higher political positions in the state.

Earlier, Chief Brown credited his inspiration for the various projects to the current Delta State Governor, Rt.Hon Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE agenda, indicating his commitment to bettering the lives of the people.

He assured Udu Local Government residents of his administration’s ongoing commitment to delivering impactful infrastructural projects within available resources.

The Udu Council Leader thanked the Udu community, his executive team, the Peoples Democratic Party, the Ovie of Udu, and Brooklyn Park United States (their sister city in the USA) for their unwavering support.

Also present at the event was the Chairman of Local Government Service Commission in Delta State, Hon. Joseph Otirhue, amongst other dignitaries.
