BREAKING: Oborevwori Sends 26 Commissioner-designates To Delta Assembly For Confirmation

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has forwarded names of 26 persons to the State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners and members of the Delta State Executive Council.

BIGPEN NIGERIA (www.bigpenngr.com) reports that the governor, in a letter read at plenary by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, today Wednesday July 19, said the appointment was in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 192 (2) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, (1999 as Amended).

The governor urged the House to expedite action to consider and confirm the nominees to enable him effect their appointments in line with the Constitution.
