Cash Crunch, Fuel Crisis: Delta NNPP Guber Candidate, Agbi Urges Nigerians To Protest Vote Against APC

The governorship candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Delta state, Engr. Goodnews Agbi, has urged Nigerians to protest vote against the ruling All Progressive Party (APC) for visiting hardships on the people.

Agbi stated this at palace of the traditional ruler of Umusume, the Okpaluku of Umusume when he paid homage to monarch during a road show at Obiaruku in Ukwani Local Government of Delta State shortly after attending a wedding ceremony of one of his media aide.

Agbi told the Okpaluku and his chiefs that they should mobilize their household and the entire community to vote for him during the March 11 governorship election, saying if voted to power he will provide free education from primary school to Secondary and provide scholarships to brilliant students to study anywhere in the world.

Agbi further said that the APC has visited hardships on the people and urged the electorates to vote out the party by voting for NNPP.

He, however commended the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) naira redesigned policy but faulted the policy implementation processes.

The governorship candidate said that while the CBN policy is a very good initiative, the implementation and timing is faulty.

He, however urged the apex bank to release more new notes into circulation to ameliorate the suffering of Nigerians who are finding it difficult to get the new notes.

Agbi said; “if this policy is well implemented, we will see the reduction of kidnapping, the value of the Naira will continue to improve, prices of goods and services will come down because we will see few Naira chasing plenty goods”, he said.

He said that the policy would hinder malpractice during the election saying “the coming elections will now be on level playing field, it will be very difficult to transfer money to 80m voters”.

He said that APC followers counting on Tinubu’s wealth to buy votes in Delta and the country will be disappointed during the elections.

He, however asked all Deltans to embrace the new CBN policy saying “just like child birth, the labor and the pain can be excruciating but after these pains come joy”.

The highpoint of the visit was when the Okpaluku prayed for Agbi’s success at the polls.
