He, however commended the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) naira redesigned policy but faulted the policy implementation processes.

The governorship candidate said that while the CBN policy is a very good initiative, the implementation and timing is faulty.

He, however urged the apex bank to release more new notes into circulation to ameliorate the suffering of Nigerians who are finding it difficult to get the new notes.

Agbi said; “if this policy is well implemented, we will see the reduction of kidnapping, the value of the Naira will continue to improve, prices of goods and services will come down because we will see few Naira chasing plenty goods”, he said.

He said that the policy would hinder malpractice during the election saying “the coming elections will now be on level playing field, it will be very difficult to transfer money to 80m voters”.

He said that APC followers counting on Tinubu’s wealth to buy votes in Delta and the country will be disappointed during the elections.
