2023: Delta Community PDP Women Rep, Ofabor Drums Support For Atiku-Okowa, Says It’ll Be PDP 5/5 In Oyede Ward 12

…Tells leaders, candidates to remember women after victory

A Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Campaign Council Ward women representative, Ms. Ewomazino Evelyn Ofabor, has called for total support for the Atiku-Okowa presidential ticket, saying that the women of Oyede ward 12 are for PDP 5/5, nothing more nothing less.

Ofabor, who spoke on Sunday, 15, January, 2023 at an enlarged meeting of PDP women Oyede 5 ward, Isoko North Local Government Area of the state, however charged leaders and gladiators in the race not to forget the women after working with their lives to give the party victory.

She commended the women for their continued supports for the party and the vow to deliver all the candidates of the party, from the house of Assembly to the presidency during the February 25, 2023 and March, 11, 2023 general elections.

The ward woman representative, while urging the Isoko North council chairman, Christian Iteire, ward leaders and candidates of the party not to abandon the women after their victory, frowned at the situation where candidates after securing victory, they no longer care about the electorates especially the women who despite all odds worked tirelessly to secure the victory.

“Isoko North council chairman sir, I want to assure you that our women who are gathered here today, will deliver all the candidates of PDP come February, 25 and March, 11, 2023 at the the polls.

“We the women of Oyede ward 12 are for PDP 5/5, nothing more nothing less. But chairman sir, our party leaders and candidates, we the women must not be forgotten at all at all after the elections.

“After victory, we the women must not be forgotten, now, we are cooking the Ukodo and when it’s ready to be served, let it go round, we the women must have our shares too. We are very confident that victory is sure.

“I want to also use this medium to tell our women not to be afraid of what the APC and SDP are doing because failure will be their portion in Jesus name amen. Let me thank and commend our women for deeming it fit to come out in their large numbers to attend today’s meeting on how to move our party forward and to lead the party to victory at the elections.

“I encourage our women to continue to stand for the PDP because Oyede is PDP and PDP is Oyede. Let me also use this opportunity to appeal to everyone who are yet to collect his or her permanent voters card (PVC) to please do so now when the window is still very much opened to do so.

“Your PVC is your power to give that victory to PDP, so please let’s all go and collect our PVCs now. Because without your PVC the victory we are talking about cannot be given to our party, the PDP. Go get your PVC and vote for Benjamin Odion for House of Assembly, Jonathan Ukodhiko for house of representatives, Michael Diden alias Ejele for Senate, Sheriff Oborevwori for governor and Atiku Abubakar for president.

“Once again, on behalf of the women and as the women representative, PDP Oyede ward 12, we the women should not be forgotten after the elections, after the victory of our party, PDP.”

In his remark at the meeting, the chairman, Isoko North council, Christian Iteire, thanked and commended the women for their steadfastness in making sure that PDP is victorious at the polls come January and March, 2023.

He vowed that whatever that is due the women and the Oyede community will be evenly distributed without anyone been shortchanged at the end of the day.

“Gone are the days that only some group of persons will be benefiting what belong to the people. This time around, nobody will be left in the sharing of benefits and the interest of everybody, especially those working for the victory of the party will be fully represented at the end of the day”, he said.
