A combined team of police have raided criminal hideouts in the coastline and maritime settlements in Edo State in continuation of the ongoing raids of criminal hideouts and cultist’s enclaves in the State.

www.bigpenngr.com reports that this came as the police on Friday, August 26 at about 1620hrs, arrested one Lawrence Yambo and his gang, who have been terrorising the Okomu riverine community in Ovia West Local Government Area of the state.

Deputy Police Public Relation Officer, ASP Jennifer U. Iwegbu, who confirmed this in a statement on Saturday, said that the breakthrough followed the Edo State Commissioner of Police, CP Abutu Yaro’s directives to conduct an intensive raid of the community.
