According to him, “For putting aside all differences to achieve this very important milestone, I say warm congratulations to the leadership of our great party.

“I hasten to add that while we bask in the euphoria of this achievement, it is also the right time to move swiftly on to engage our dear people of Rivers State to join hands with us in rebuilding our state”.

While saying the last challenging years were a lesson in the value of cohesion for the party, Korka-Waadah, urged leaders of the party to build on unity by reconnecting with the people.

“We need to reassure them that the APC is the only party that would bring development to their footsteps”, he added.

Continuing, he said, “The task ahead may not be easy, but with unity of purpose, disadvantaged young men and women from struggling Rivers State families would have the chance again to study on scholarship in the best universities.

“It would be time to redirect focus on human capital development by investing in sustainable projects that guarantee the future for our people socially and economically.

“Once again, congratulations to APC leadership in Rivers State and felicitation with our national leaders”, Korka-Waadah added.
