COVID-19: Nigeria Records 8 New Deaths, 284 Infections, Tally Near 7000

Nigeria on Wednesday recorded eight new deaths from coronavirus (COVID-19) disease and 284 new cases from 13 states and the FCT.

This was contained in the figures released by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), via its twitter handle Wednesday night.

On Tuesday, just one death was recorded in the entire country but as of Wednesday the deaths jumped from 192 with eight additional cases, rounding up a total of 200 fatalities across the nation.

So far, Nigeria has a total of 6677 cases,
with 1840 discharged and 200 deaths recorded.
