Young Girl Found Dead In Hotel Room In Delta
An unidentified young girl has been found dead in a hotel room in Oleh, headquarters of Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The girl was reportedly found in the hotel located along Odoro road opposite Urusiwe street belonging to an Owhe community man.
It was not clear how the girl died but police source said she was found with bruises all over her face and body, thus indicating she was severely stabbed to death by her assailants. It was not also clear as at press time if any part of her body was missing.
A source disclosed that a young man suspected to have lodged the hotel over night with the deceased has since fled.
The source said that the corpse of the deceased was found Sunday morning by other guest who lodged in the hotel when the police raided the area.
A guest who pleaded anonymity said the incident happened in a downstairs rooms of the hotel whereas he lodged upstairs.
The police from Oleh police division have since evacuated the corpse and deposited same at the Oleh Central Hospital morgue.
The source disclosed that the hotel manager who intimated the police of the discovery have been helping with investigation on the record of guest who lodge in the hotel at as when the incident happened.
