‎”The Same God That Brought Tinubu Will Solve Nigeria’s Problems,” Says Umahi

Minister of Works, David Umahi, has expressed confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ability to steer Nigeria through its current challenges, saying divine guidance will continue to support the administration in addressing insecurity and advancing national development.

‎Speaking on Thursday during an inspection of ongoing bridge projects in Lagos, including the Carter Bridge, which is scheduled for reconstruction next week, Umahi said he remains optimistic about the President’s capacity to overcome the nation’s difficulties.

‎“The same God that brought him is going to be there to solve all the problems,” he stated.
‎
‎Umahi called on Nigerians to support the Federal Government’s efforts to strengthen security and improve governance, stressing that leadership often requires confronting challenges head-on rather than avoiding them.
‎
‎“There is no leader who will not want his reign to be peaceful, but when crises come, the leader must confront them. That is exactly what we are doing,” he said.

‎The minister noted that regardless of whether the country’s security challenges are politically motivated, he is confident that President Tinubu will receive the wisdom, strength, and direction needed to address them effectively.
‎
‎He also expressed optimism about the administration’s infrastructure agenda, saying projects initiated under the current government would be successfully completed.
‎
‎“Your hands that have started this will complete it,” Umahi said, referring to the President’s ongoing infrastructure and development initiatives.
