BREAKING: NLC President Joe Ajaero Detained By DSS Ahead Of UK Trip

The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) on Monday morning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

Ajaero was preparing to board a flight to the United Kingdom for an official assignment when he was taken into custody.

Sources indicate that Ajaero has been handed over to the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) for further investigation, although the reasons for his arrest remain unclear.

His detention comes on the eve of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) conference in the UK, which he was scheduled to attend.
