Delta South: Ibori Describes Joel-Onowakpo As A Man With Undeniable Capacity

Foremost Delta political leader and erstwhile Governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, has described the All Progressives Congress ((APC) candidate for Delta South Senatorial District, Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas as a man with undeniable capacity to transform the District, as he prays for his election victory.

Chief Ibori made the observation on Wednesday, January 18. 2023, when he received Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, in his country home at Oghara, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State.

Joel-Onowakpo had visited the political heavyweight and elder statesman for consultation and to humbly request his support in the forthcoming elections to represent the good people of Delta South Senatorial District in the distinguished red chambers.

While giving his prayers, Chief Ibori described Joel-Onowakpo as a humble man with track records excellent delivery of service and undeniable capacity to transform Delta South. He prayed God to grant Joel-Onowakpo victory in his quest to represent his people.

Hon. Joel-Onowakpo had earlier told Chief Ibori that it was compelling for him to pay him the visit to inform him of his ambition, solicit his blessing and support as he cannot embark on the journey without informing him.

He said that Chief Ibori remains a political iroko of our time that deserved to be respected and celebrated, adding that Chief Ibori’s hallmark of leadership and experience gannered over the years, cannot be wished away.

“Your Excellency, I am here today to officially announce to you that I am contesting for the position of Delta South Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to represent my people in the red Chambers.

“Not only that, I have also come for your prayers and support. It remains an undeniable fact that you remain one of the foremost leaders we have in Delta State, Niger Delta and Nigeria at large. As I embark on his journey, I solicit your support and those of your numerous followers in Delta South Senatorial District as this will go a long way in my envisaged victory come February 25, 2023.”

While thanking Chief Ibori for his outstanding leadership, he prayed God to grant Deltans and Nigerians at large the desired peace to hold successful elections.
