Three-man Rape Gang Nabbed In Delta As Police Smoke Out Suspect Who Insert Candle On Victim’s Private Parts

Three suspects who usually lure unsuspecting young girls on facebook, get them to a hotel, drug them and then gang rape them, before holding them hostage and demanding ransom from their parents to secure their release, have been apprehended in Delta state.
BIGPEN NIGERIA (www.bigpenngr.com) reports that the suspects, one Cornelius Ememah, Nelson Aghogho (aka Little), and one female, Ofuoma Tunde, are in police custody for alleged cases of gang-raping and kidnapping including kidnapping of a student of school of Health and Technology Ofuoma, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Confirming this, State Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, in a statement released to newsmen in Warri, commercial hub of the state, said the arrest followed a complain made by one of the victims on Monday January 2, 2023 at about 1700hrs.
He said that the Divisional Police Officer in Ofuoma Division had received a complaint from a lady (name withheld) that she saw one of the hoodlums that kidnapped her on Sunday December 11, 2022.
Edafe said that the victim told police investigators that she was held hostage at a hotel in Iwherekpokpor Community, Ughelli North LGA by her captors who took her nude pictures and recorded her on video while inserting a candle on her private part, and used same to blackmail her and her parents to pay huge ransom.
According to the PPRO, on receipt of this complaint, the DPO immediately detailed a combined team of Police detectives and Ekiugbo community vigilante, arrested the 32-year-old Cornelius Emene.

He said that during preliminary investigation, the suspects made useful statement that led to the arrest of two other suspects Nelson Aghogho (aka Little), Ufuoma Tunde.
Edafe said that the victims also gave account of how they kidnapped another student of school of Health and Technology Ofuoma, Ughelli North LGA.
On how the suspects operate, Edafe reiterated; “The modus operandi of the syndicate is to lure unsuspecting young girls on facebook, get them to a hotel, drug them, gang rape them, before holding them hostage and demand ransom from their parents to secure their release.
He said that the suspects phones contained numerous sex video recording of their previous victims, which was also used to blackmail them and their parents were recovered.
While saying that the three suspects, Cornelius Ememah, Nelson Aghogho (aka Little), and Ofuoma Tunde ‘f’, are currently in custody, he said that investigation is ongoing.
