Guber Aspirant Farah Dagogo Declared Wanted By Gov Wike For Alleged Attack On PDP Office

Nyesom Wike, the Governor of Rivers State, has declared a member of the House of Representatives and River Governorship aspirant, Farah Dagogo, wanted for hiring cultists to attack the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat in Port Harcourt.

The governor made the declaration in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Kelvin Ebiri.

Wike directed the Rivers State Police Command to arrest the federal lawmaker for hiring cultists who stormed the PDP secretariat in Port Harcourt.

He said Dagogo was responsible for the disruption of the screening of aspirants for various elective positions.


Governor Wike, directed the Police, as a matter of urgency t0 arrest the House of Representatives member.


”The Police must as a matter of urgency arrest Farah Dagogo, wherever he is, and must be made to face prosecution.”


It was learnt that some of the hoodlums hired by Farah Dagogo have been arrested and would be made to face the full wrath of the law.

But a source closed to Dagogo dismissed the allegation  saying the lawmaker was not in the arena when the protesters stormed the venue.

The source said that a group of aspirants vying for the House of Assembly and National Assembly tickets had protested the refusal of the PDP Committee to screen them.

He said: “While they were addressing journalists at the PDP secretariat, policemen arrived the scene and started shooting into the air. They arrested some of the aspirants and took them away. Dagogo was not there. Why will they declare him wanted?”, he queried.
