“What God has chosen no man can change. Nothing can stop you from achieving your dreams. Nothing can stop you because the Warri South Constituency 11 seat is yours already,” the women said.

Responding, Tidi appreciated the women for the visit, saying that the visit means a lot to him.

He promised not to let the women down when he eventually gets to the House of Assembly ticket, stressing that there area lot of things to be done for the people of Warri South Constituency 11.

He said Warri South Constituency 11 needs young vibrant men and women who would not not go to the House to warm chairs, but people who will go to the House to make laws that will bring development to the Constituency.

Tidi assured the Okere-Urhobo women that he will consolidate on the existing peace he has built in Warri South council when he gets to the state House of Assembly.

Tidi told the Okere-Urhobo women that as a peace loving man, he has contributed in no small measure to the peace and development in Okere-Urhobo kingdom in particular and Warri South Council Area, as a whole.

He said it was because of the love he has for his maternal kinsmen that made him to own a property in Edjebah community where he had been living for over four year.

Tidi also promised the women that he would create an elders/social welfares scheme to take care of the elderly in Warri South Council Area, adding that the scheme will become operational in the next budget of the council.

“Seeing you today has brought back fund memories of how your sister, my grandmother, used to take care of me. She was the one who took care of me while I was growing up.

“Right from my childhood, I love the Urhobo Kingdom where I proudly come from and I know that nobody can take that way from me. I was born in Okere market and I have lived all my life with the people of Okere-Urhobo kingdom. I was very close to one of my uncles, late Chief Samuel Okumagba when I was growing up.

“I am a very young man. I cannot deceive you because if I deceive you today, I cannot come back to seek your support tomorrow. I know where I am going, but some people are saying that if I get there I will not remember my people. How is that possible when there are higher places like Abuja to go.
