Tragedy At Wedding Reception In Delta As Bouncer Stabs Teenage Boy To Death

Tragedy struck at a wedding reception in Mofor, Udu council area, near Warri, Delta state, on Saturday, as a bouncer drafted to the wedding reception venue stabbed a teenage boy to death.

BIGPENNGR understands that the boy identified as Oghenemaro Eriana was pounced on by the bouncer at the popular Wetland Hotel in the area.

According to eyewitnesses, the boy was reportedly trying to pick up money sprayed on the couple during the ceremony, when the bouncer, simply identified as Francis Utuedor, hauled him and stabbed him in the process.

The boy who stayed along Kolokolo Street in Udu Road and went to the party with his mother, died before help could come his way.

His mother, according to sources loss her older son about two month ago before this tragedy death of another son at a wedding reception party of the groom said to be their neighbour at Kolokolo.

When contacted, the Delta State Police Command’s spokesman, DSP Edafe Bright, confirmed the development, noting that the suspect has been arrested. He said “it happened at Wetland Hotel. The suspect is in our custody”.
