Published

on

A former Senator, Dino Melaye, has responded to those linking him to popular Internet fraudster, Abbas Ramon, aka Hushpuppi.

Melaye made the request in a video shared on his Instagram page following his linking to the crime by Hushpuppi.

He stated that he read on social media that Hushpuppi helped him launder $31 million.

Melaye in a sarcastic statement pleaded to be given just $1 million, while the rest of the money can be kept by those accusing him of crime.

He also addressed rumours of being wanted by the United States of America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation, stating that he stays in the US.

The former Senator ended the video by calling his accusers: “Awon Oloshi,” which means in Yoruba dialect: “Useless people.”
