I Fainted Many Times But Never Gave Up – Journalist Recounts His Childhood Years At 47

Warri based Media Practitioner of over two decades, Mr. Metsese Anthony Ebule, says his philosophy of life is anchored on selflessness and combative approach, because he started fighting for life from childhood.

Ebule, who edits Fresh Angle International ( www.freshangleng.com) made the disclosure in an interview days to his 47th birthday, which falls on June 1, 2021.

He told journalists: “Nothing moves me in life, the most important thing that agitates my mind is getting God’s grace to make heaven when the time comes. I have little interest for materialism and strongly believe in investment in people,,because that is one of the ways to promote global peace and lay a solid foundation for my children to excel in future”.

On why he is perceived as simple in appearance and combative at same time in his dealings with people, Ebule explained: “I was born fighting from childhood. As a child, I fell sick countless times and even fainted on a couple of occasions. My mother suffered a lot raising me up, I sometimes wonder how I survived my early days in life. This made me developed thick skin and influenced my combative approach to anything I do, especially in the practice of my beloved profession, journalism. I believe since God saw me through my difficult childhood days, I can confront anyone and anything without fear, so long as my spirit tells me I am doing the right thing. I am not swayed by anyone’s threat or intimidation, because I know I am a destiny child, irrespective of my occasional human errors.”

He added: ” I respect people who add value to the society in terms of creativity, knowledge, intelligence and humble positive influence on others. I detest people who think they can bully others,,because of their opportunistic material possession and position. I also don’t fancy those who promote ethno – religious sentiment instead of merit and credibility, that is one of the major causes of Nigeria’s underdevelopment.

” I will like to thank God for giving me one of the best mothers on earth ( may her soul continue to rest in peace) a lovely wife and children, understanding and caring siblings, couple of supportive friends, associates and biological relations, exceptional editorial team at Fresh Angle International, clients who believe as well as support my journalism career and the privilege of learning spiritual principles of life under my spiritual father, Papa Ayodele Joseph Oritsejafor. I trust God to continually give me the grace to influence people positively as I strive daily to upscale my practice of journalism”.
