How Governor Okowa’s Aide, ‘Daddy K’ Sowho Was Murdered

More facts have emerged on how Comrade Okiemute Sowho, Special Assistant on Youth Development to Delta State governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, was gruesomely murdered in Sapele on Saturday.

BIGPENNGR.COM understands Sowho who is in his early 40s was killed by gunmen around 6:pm near a popular hotel along Akintola road, close to the Adeniyi axis of the metropolis.

Multiple sources said that the deceased was shot severally by his assailants who trailed him to the location where he had gone to check a building project.

“We sighted him in the vicinity but while he was there some unknown assailants surfaced from nowhere and opened fire on him, before speeding away in a white Venza they came with”, one source said.

It was learnt that sympathisers later rushed him to a private hospital in the area where the doctors confirmed him dead on arrival before his remains were deposited in the mortuary.

When contacted the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Edafe Bright confirmed his death, stating; “it’s true that we have a report that aide to the governor was killed; however, we are yet to get detail”.
