Group Hails Appointment Of Jaro Egbo As Special Adviser To NDDC Sole Admin

A pan Urhobo group, the Urhobo Political Movement (UPM), has lauded the appointment of a chieftain of All progressive Congress (APC), Olorogun Jaro Egbo ksc on his recent appointment as Special Adviser to the Chief Executive Officer/Administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Emmanuel Effiong Akwa.

A statement by the national president of the group, Chief Dr Ominimini Obiuwevbi Ksc, said that the appointment of Egbo as SA, Media and Publicity Affairs to the NDDC’s sole administration was well deserved.

The group, also lauded the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio for finding a prominent Urhobo Son worthy of the appointment in this critical period of the commission that is beleaguered with internal challenges that necessitated the forensic audit of the commission.

The National President call on all Urhobos and indeed all Niger Delta Region stakeholders to close rank and work with the interim Administrator to restore the fortune of the interventionist agency.

The group noted that Akwa, a lawyer is a thoroughly bred and first class Administrator who will deliver the forensic audit that will give rise to the constitution of the board of the commission by the President.

“It is therefore proper for all regional stakeholders to cooperate with the interim Administrator to deliver on his onerous mandate. Once again we congratulate our son on his new tour of duty”, the statement added.
