Update: COVID-19: Lagos Rake In 111 Cases As Nigeria Tally Now 8915

Nigeria on Thursday recorded 182 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) across sixteen states and the Federal Capital Territory, bringing a total of 8915 nationwide.

Out of the number, Lagos state, epicenter of the virus in the country took 111 cases with other states recording between 16 and 10 cases downward.

BIGPEN reports five new deaths were recorded bringing a total of 259 fatalities against the initial 254 as of Wednesday night.

Announcing the new cases via its twitter handle Thursday night, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), says the country has 8915 cases, 2592 recoveries and 259 deaths.
