232 Infected With COVID-19 As 8 New Cases Emerge In Nigeria

A total of 232 persons have been infected with coronavirus in Nigeria after the Centre for Disease Control announced eight new cases on Sunday.

Of the eight new cases, five were recorded in Lagos, epicenter of the disease, while Abuja and Kaduna has two, one respectively.

NCDC, in a tweet said, “Eight new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 5 in Lagos, 2 in the FCT and 1 in Kaduna State As at 09:30 pm 5th April there are 232 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Thirty-three have been discharged with five deaths”
