Aliyu Ahman-Pategi: You’re Frustrated Over Your Failed Governorship Ambition – Pro-Buhari Group

A pro-Buhari group known as “Patigi For Buhari” has lambasted Hon. Aliyu Ahman-Pategi over his scathing attack on President Muhammadu Buhari, saying the lawmaker was veering his anger out of frustration for his failed governorship ambition.

Ahman-Pategi who represents Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency of Kwara State, was said to have questioned Buhari’s achievements in Patigi Local Government Area in his three and half years to warrant reelection.

He also claimed that Buhari was brought to government by them but he (Buhari) is not healthy now.

The lawmaker was also quoted to have said Buhari is a betrayal whose government has failed among several other alarmingly political baseless propaganda, the group said.

Reacting to the assertions, Deputy Coordinator, “Patigi For Buhari 2019”, Engr. Mohammed Mohammed Makun, in a statement made available to BigPen Online on Thursday, said that the lawmaker deserved no response considering “his dead and buried political relevance within and outside Patigi LGA but only for record purposes shall we respond to the issues.

They said that Aliyu blind question about what Buhari has done for Patigi shows he (Aliya) is only “walking with open blind eyes or suffering from severe acute short memory probably caused by his political imprisonment”.

The group said, “As much as we know people aren’t taking PDP and their agents of underdevelopment serious, we need to remind the good people of Patigi LGA that Aliyu Ahman-Pategi is more irrelevant than ever before, hence, the need to disregard his fallacious fallacies about Buhari because he is not better than a slave of 15th century.

“After all, it wasn’t President Muhammadu Buhari that lured Aliyu Bahago into spending money on failed Governorship ambition.

“If that is what is causing Bahago’s frustration, we expect him to direct his frustration to his political master that has enslaved him and not President Muhammadu Buhari who is busy remedying the damages done by PDP to the good people of Nigeria”.

The group however listed some specific benefits Patigi LGA has gotten from Buhari led administration to includes Human Capital Development through the N-Power program of which Patigi LGA has nothing less than 400 beneficiaries collecting the sum of 30, 000 monthly.

“This group of people have been lifted out of poverty and now depend fully on themselves and even catering for others. Or probably, if we may ask, is it Hon. Aliyu or Sen. Bukola, his political master that is paying those Patigi LGA N-Power beneficiaries?

The group also gave Buhari kudos for the reconstruction of Share-Patigi and Patigi-Kpada Roads, saying that throughout the 16 years misrule of Hon. Aliyu’s party, PDP, the above roads was a death traps and den of armed robbers.

They listed the 1,200 SIP Beneficiaries, wondering if “Hon. Ahman-Pategi mean to say that our old and elderly people that Buhari’s government is given N5000 monthly in Patigi LGA are not important and worthy of been called people? What and how has he touched the lives of those old and less privileged people in his 12 years of failed representation? How did Atiku better the lives of these people during his 8 years of V.Pship other than selling government property for themselves?

The group also named the flourishing of Patigi LGA farmers who are now exporting their produce and enjoying the proceeds as Buhari’s  achievement in the area.

They further listed construction of INEC office, execution of constituency projects by Hon. Ahman-Pategi which are being funded by the Buhari’s administration as well as appointment of Prof. Mohammed Gana Yissa as Nigerian Ambassador to Japan as some of many achievements of President Buhari in the area.

The group however challenge Ahman-Pategi to name what Patigi LGA has benefitted from the expiring 8 years tenure of Abdul-Fatah Ahmed, Senate Presidency of Bukola Saraki,  saying, “How has Hon. Aliyu be of help to our teaming youths in terms of employment or mention one single project worth just N5m that Governor Ahmed has executed in Patigi”.
