on

Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, the immediate past governor of Delta State and Delta South senatorial district candidate of the APC on Saturday visited Olorogun Ortega Emerhor in his palatial home in Evwreni, Ughelli North local Government Area of the state.

Details of the visit were still sketchy as at press time but it may not be far unconnected to the forthcoming general elections.

Uduaghan was said to have been accomplished by few of his aides while Emerhor had with him Chief Malachi Orode, Mr Gideon Ughere Ukpohwo, amongst others.

The former governor have been trying to make peace among APC gladiators in the state who have been at each other jugular before his defection to the party with the view of consolidating on their structures ahead the polls.

BigPen Online recalls that Emerhor had earlier in January paid a similar visit to Uduaghan at his GRA residence in Warri in preparing for the Presidential campaign visit to Delta State.

He, coincidentally met with the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Chief Great Ogboru who was at that time with Uduaghan putting heads together for the presidential campaign rally.

At that time, report says barring any unforeseen circumstances, Ogboru may be settling the rife between him and the APC leader, Olorogun Emerhor ahead the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Delta State.

At then, photographs seen by BigPen Online shows Emerhor and Ogboru in a warm embrace after a handshake in the meeting which Uduaghan who is also the Delta South senatorial candidate of the party convened to fine-tune arrangement for the presidential/governorship flag off in the state.

Ogboru and Senator Ovie Omo-Agege who were later joined by former Governor, Dr Uduaghan are controling largely the faction of the APC recognised by the National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and the presidency while Emerhor controls the other tendencies of the party which is relying on the court to remedy the reported controversy resulting from the last year governorship primary.
