While congratulating the Olu of Warri, Chief Ikomi, stated that the royal father has been able to achieve peace and harmonious co-existence with neighboring tribes within and outside his kingdom.

He disclosed that the reign of Ogiame Ikenwoli will usher in massive physical/ infrastructural growth and development adding that empowerment of youths through employment and provision of vocational skills would ensure a self-sustainable living for them at all times.

He appealed to those he described as “Social Media Tigers” to stop the attacks as it amounts to washing their dirty linen in the public as well as exposing the throne to public odium before their immediate neighbours and the larger society.

Chief Eugene commended the monarch for his foresight in conferring chieftaincy titles on deserving young and vibrant Itsekiri sons and daughters.

“These young new chiefs would be the ones to take over from the old chiefs as they become too feeble and weak to function effectively at the palace and need timeto rest after very active service to the palace and the Itsekiri nation”, he said.

He charged all aggrieved persons in the kingdom to sheath their swords and key into the new agenda of the palace by their active support and loyalty to the monarch in order to move the Itsekiri nation forward for the benefit of all, even as he dismissed claims that some palace chiefs have renounced their titles, describing it as rumours because no chiefs has officially return their beads to the palace.
