Young Girl Who Lead Suspected Robbing Gang Terrorizing Warri In Police Net

A suspected female robber, notorious for leading an armed robbing gang terrorizing Warri and its environs has met her water-loo.
BIGPEN Online understands that the gang was busted on Monday after which the suspected notorious robber was arrested by officers and men of the “Safe Delta” Unit of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF led by CSP Anieteh Eyoh.
It was learnt that the suspect simply identified as Bella Lucky was arrested alongside two other suspects at McCaiver market area in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The notorious female suspect was tracked down by the Police after she allegedly stabbed and inflicted bodily injuries on a yet-to-be identified woman.
In a sting operation, the police were said to have busted the hide out of the gang where they arrested the female and two other boys. Items such as daggers and some mobile phones were recovered from the suspects.
Sources disclosed that the said Bella was the one who allegedly lead the gang to their operation even as she specializes in luring victims to the criminal gangs through commercial tricycle.
When contacted for comments, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Hafiz Inuwa confirmed the report in a telephone chat with Our Correspondent in Warri.
CP Inuwa said,”These were armed robbers who were using a woman. It’s not a question of notorious armed robber. It’s a gang using knife, stab people and rob them.”
CP Inuwa said, “Three of them were arrested. One out of them is a very young girl.”
The Delta State Police boss explained that,”Her duty was to sort of deceive passengers, engage them in a discussion before they got carried away and they rob them. They’ve been arrested and they’re in our custody.”
CP Inuwa was silent if any armourer was arrested amongst the gang members.
CSP Anieteh Eyoh declined comments on the matter when Our Correspondent sought his comments.
