JUST IN: Tinubu Appoints Ibori’s Protége As NDDC Board Chairman

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new Board and Management team of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

The new board chairman, Chiedu Ebie, an in-law of Ibori was a former Secretary to the Delta State Government while Monday Igbuya, a former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly is core loyalist of Ibori.

The appointment was contained in a statement by Special Adviser to the President, (Media & Publicity) Chief Ajuri Ngelale.

The President, according to Ngelale expects that the new Board and Management team will ensure a new era of successful administration in the NDDC, in line with his Renewed Hope agenda.

The statement said all of the underlisted appointments take immediate effect.

Mr. Boma Iyaye – Executive Director (Finance and Admin) – Rivers

Sen. Dimaro Denyanbofa – State Representative – Bayelsa
