Idjerhe Monarch Congratulates Oborevwori After Taking Office As Delta Governor

The Ovie of the Great Idjerhe kingdom in Delta State, HRM King Monday Obukowho Whiskey JP.UDURHIE I, has congratulated the Right Honorable Sheriff Oborevwori on his successful oath-taking as the Executive Governor of Delta State.

According to a statement from the Ovie of Great Idjerhe Kingdom, God had divinely predestined that Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori become governor of Delta State.

The king noted that Governor Oborevwori is a seasoned politician who has held positions in both the executive and legislative arms of government.

He achieved the highest position in the legislative branch—Speaker—through his dedication, diligence, and openness, the traditional ruler said.

The monarch expressed confidence in his ability to use his wealth of experience to help the state be governed, especially after working closely with Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the immediate past governor and a political genius.

The monarch added that, as a grassroot politician who rose from community leadership and has spent all his life in Delta State, Governor Oborevwori will turn the fortunes of the state through his robust MORE Agenda.

The Idjerhe Kingdom monarch who is veteran journalist turned king urged Deltans to support Governor Oborevwori and expect more development, peace, employment, empowerment and prosperity.

He prayed God to grant him more wisdom, divine health and grace to succeed in his new assignment.

The monarch also used the opportunity to thanked the immediate past Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on his successful tenure.
