Delta: APGA Assembly Candidate, Agbaminor Provides Water Project For Otomewo Community

Chief Engr Onanefe Otis Agbaminor, the candidate for All Progressive Grand Alliance ( APGA) for Okpe Constituency State House of Assembly in Delta State, has inaugurated a water project for Otowemo community in Okpe Local Government Area of the State.
Agbaminor commissioned the project on Wednesday amidst jubilation in the sleepy community.
Addressing the people during the event, Chief Agbaminor said that he decided to embark on the project after he was intimated that pipe-borne water was a major need of the people of the area.
He said that prior to the project, he has been giving back to the society in terms of attending to medical needs of some of the constituents.
According to him, since 2020 he took it upon him to give a token of N5,000 to over 500 women that gave birth to children in ward 8 constituency in Okpe council area as part of his child delivery philanthropic project.
In his remarks, APGA Okpe local government chairman, Mr Richard Egbo, affirmed the good gesture of Chief Agbaminor, commending him for his humanitarian services and kind gesture to humanity.
He added “this project is not borne out of his political ambition rather it is as a result of giving succor to the downtrodden.
He further stated that Chief Agbaminor has been on different philanthropic gestures in the community.
Also speaking, an elated Olotu of the community, Chief Emmanuel gave a graphic picture of how they have been trying to construct bore hole for the community for a long time, expressing delight that Agbaminor came to their rescue.
He said that the project was a dream come through for the people.
Highpoint of the event was the cutting of the tape by Egbo amidst fanfare and jubilation by both young and old people from the community and the party member present at the ceremony.
