“Jesse Elites noted with satisfaction that the reign of Udurhie 1, has not only witnessed monumental growth and development, but has brought peace and tranquility to Idjerhe Kingdom, for the past one year”, they said.

The Forum noted that the contributions of Ovie Monday Whiskey to the peace-building and development of the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria, will not remain unnoticed.

The group maintained that the monarch, a veteran journalist by profession who had put in over three decades of journalism practice before ascending the throne, would bring his wealth of experience to bear in the newly reconstituted Delta State Traditional Rulers’ Council.
