COVID-19: Kano Adds Record 23 Cases In One Day As Nigeria’s Tally Hits 665
Total cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nigeria, has climbed to 665 after Centre for Disease Control (CDC), on Monday night, announced thirty-eight new cases of the virus in seven states including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
In the break down of daily test result released by the NCDC on Monday, Lagos, for the first time has a clean bill of health with no case returning positive.
However, Kano state swelled its test results by 23 confirmed positive cases in addition to its 36 previously tested positive cases that are being treated and managed in the state.
Others with positive cases are: Gombe (5), Kaduna (3), Borno (2), Abia (2), FCT (1), Sokoto (1), its index case, and Ekiti state (1).
So far, Nigeria, now has 665 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 188 discharged cases and 22 death toll.
