Okowa Assigns Portfolios To New Commissioners

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has approved the assignment of portfolios to the recently sworn in Commissioners.

This was contained in a statement by Secretary to the State Government. Mr Chiedu Ebie on Thursday.

Recalls that 17 new commissioners were sworn-in on Tuesday in Asaba, the State capital, after the first batch of commissioners were sworn-in on July 3rd.

According to the statement, Fidelis Tilijie, (Finance), Pere Gbe (Economic Planning), Julius Egbedi (Agriculture), and Churchill Amagada (Lands & Survey).

Others portfolios include, Lawrence Ejiofor (Culture & Tourism), Arthur Akpovwowo (Urban Renewal), Martin Okonta (Water Resources Development) and Ifeanyi Egwunyega (Youth Development).

Mordi Ononye (Health), Chris Onogba (Environment), Ovie Oghoore (Transport) Emma Amgbaduba (Oil & Gas), Gbubemi Ikolo (Technical Education), Mathew Tsekiri (Science & Technology), Henry Sakpra (Special Duties Goverment House) and Charles Aniagwu (Information).
