BREAKING: Tribunal Sacks Governor Oyetola, Declares Adeleke Winner Of Osun Election

Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun has been sacked by the Osun State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja.

The tribunal however declared Ademola Adeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the 2018 election in the state as winner.

The tribunal held that the All Progressives Congress and its candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, were not validly returned.

The tribunal also dismissed the objections filed by the APC and its candidate, as well as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) against the petition challenging their victory at the September 2018 election.
