Former Governor of Delta State and APC Senatorial candidate for Delta North, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, on Thursday charged Delta APC faithful to deliver over two million votes for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in the 2027 general election.

Okowa, who spoke at the Delta APC campaign flag-off in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area, said the 2027 election would be a test of Delta’s unity and its decision to align with the Federal Government.

He challenged party faithful to work for the victory of the party across all elective positions—from the presidency to the governorship, Senate, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly.

“Delta must speak with one voice in 2027,” Okowa told the crowd.

“We must deliver over two million votes for President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori. That is our target, and it is achievable if we work together from our polling units”, he said.

Okowa urged Isoko leaders and supporters not to see the campaign as an Isoko affair alone, but as a Delta project, stressing that the party’s strength lies in its ability to win across the three senatorial districts—Delta North, Delta South, and Delta Central.

He also urged party faithful to intensify grassroots mobilisation, defend their votes at the polling units, and carry the campaign to every ward and community.
