Isoko South Chair, Friday Warri, Reveals APC’s Grassroots Strategy for 2027

The chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. (Comr.) Friday Ovoke Warri, has hinted that the Delta South All Progressives Congress (APC) Mega Stakeholders’ Meeting is a significant step towards strengthening unity within the party and securing victory in the 2027 general elections.

The meeting, held on Thursday at the Brownhill Coliseum in Warri, Delta State, brought together leaders, elders and stakeholders of the APC from the eight local government areas that make up the Delta South Senatorial District.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the meeting, Warri said the gathering was important in fostering greater understanding, unity and cooperation among party members across the senatorial district.

Warri emphasised the need for party members to remain united, disciplined and committed to the collective interests of the APC, stressing that internal cohesion and grassroots mobilisation would be critical to the party’s performance in the 2027 elections.

According to him, the meeting provided an opportunity for leaders and stakeholders to assess the strength of the party’s structures, identify areas requiring improvement and work towards building a more formidable political organisation across Delta South.

Warri said, “This meeting is very important because no political party can achieve meaningful success without unity among its members. What we have witnessed today is a clear demonstration that our leaders, elders and stakeholders are committed to working together for the progress of the APC in Delta South.

“As party members, we must put aside personal differences and focus on the larger interest of the party. We need discipline, dedication, and genuine commitment at every level, particularly at the grassroots, because that is where the strength of any political organisation lies.

“I am fully committed to supporting every genuine effort aimed at strengthening the APC in Isoko South and across Delta South. We must continue to mobilise our people, strengthen our structures and ensure that our members are properly carried along. If we remain united and focused, I believe the APC will be in a stronger position to achieve victory in the 2027 general elections.”

The Isoko South council chairman also reaffirmed his support for initiatives aimed at strengthening the party at the grassroots and advancing the Renewed Hope agenda of the APC.

The stakeholders’ meeting further provided a platform for party leaders and members to deliberate on strategies for strengthening the APC’s organisational structures, promoting internal cohesion and deepening grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.

The gathering also reaffirmed the stakeholders’ commitment to the ideals of the party and the need for coordinated efforts to build a stronger and more formidable APC across the eight local government areas of Delta South.
