‎Oborevwori Celebrates Julius Rone at 52, Hails Him as Delta’s Energy Trailblazer ‎

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated UTM FLNG Managing Director, Mr. Julius Rone, OFR, on his 52nd birthday, describing him as an exceptional entrepreneur whose work has boosted Delta State and Nigeria’s profile in the global energy sector.

‎In a congratulatory message issued on Thursday in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor praised Rone’s visionary leadership and remarkable contributions to the nation’s oil and gas industry.

‎He noted that his investments have created opportunities, stimulated economic growth, and inspired a new generation of indigenous entrepreneurs.

‎Governor Oborevwori said Rone, widely acclaimed as “The Gas King,” has distinguished himself through innovation, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s industrial development, particularly with the successful development of UTM FLNG Limited, the promoter of Nigeria’s pioneering Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) project.

‎He urged successful entrepreneurs across the country to emulate Rone’s passion for enterprise, investment, and national development, stressing that his accomplishments demonstrate the transformative impact of vision, hard work, and patriotism.

‎The Governor said, “On behalf of my family, the Government and the good people of Delta State, I warmly congratulate my brother and friend, Mr. Julius Rone, OFR, as he celebrates his 52nd birth anniversary.

‎”Your inspiring journey from entrepreneurship to becoming one of Nigeria’s leading figures in the energy sector reflects the rewards of diligence, innovation, and perseverance.

‎”Your pioneering efforts in advancing Nigeria’s first Floating Liquefied Natural Gas project remain a landmark achievement that will continue to shape the future of the nation’s energy industry.

‎”As you celebrate this milestone, I join your family, friends, business associates, and well-wishers in thanking God for your life and numerous accomplishments.

‎”It is my prayer that the Almighty God grants you continued good health, greater wisdom, and many more years of outstanding service to Delta State, Nigeria, and humanity.”
